Update: We actually pulled this design before anyone ordered it as we realized we're not so good with aerodynamics.
Now that we started dabbling in computational fluid dynamics simulation we realized this design only makes about 1.6 grams of downforce at 25 mph. 😅
We're redesigning a more functional product and will update it when ready.
Our ultra durable polyurethane front shock tower protector adds a nearly indestructible layer of protection for your LC Racing EMB-1 or LC12B1 shocks and shock tower, and now with an integrated wing: additional front downforce.
This cover fits around both sides of the tower and clamps using only a single screw/nut with a snug and secure fit. Both shock mounting hole positions remain usable for your tuning needs.
Includes all necessary hardware to mount to aluminum or carbon shock towers. Tighten hardware until end of screw is about 1 mm from being flush with nut. Use washer between nut and protector to help spread the clamping force since the protector is flexible.
Manufactured from tough and flexible high durometer polyurethane.
