JConcepts Siren - 2.2" Buggy Tires, 4WD, Front (2pcs)

For the carpet and astroturf racing world, the Siren tire shares styling cues from its successful racing sibling, the Nessi. Racing on artificial surfaces requires a lot of stability and forward-bite, and the design team went to work to substantially improve performance for deep turf or carpet surfaces.

Designed with the industry standard 2.2” bead mounting size, the Siren is very versatile and has shown to work in many natural and artificial conditions. Semi-circle protrusions are included in the center section of the tire and on the sidewall area. These details are important, and the low semi-circles improve side-bite but minimize traction-rolling associated with normal pins. The pink compound is a medium soft material with good wear characteristics.

Paul Wynn, racing the JConcepts Turf Nationals in Enfield, Connecticut, in the 40+ 2wd modified class, scored a difficult victory on the RC Madness outdoor astroturf track. Utilizing both Nessi and Siren, Paul went to the Siren during times when the surface was a little warmer and dirt underneath the track turned to dust and saturated the turf. The Siren dug into these sections with ease to produce more grip and consistency for long main events.
