A high output option that's compact enough to fit on many 1/14 off road platforms, such as the EMB-TG and EMB-SC.
Due to its taller height, particularly with the fan, it's only recommended for platforms where it can be mounted onto the chassis surface rather than the upper deck brace used on most vehicles. It can be mounted on the upper deck, but most bodies will not clear the fan. Removing the fan is a possibility, but be aware of increased heat.
We have previously installed this ESC with fan on a Typhon Grom at the front of its battery area, which necessitates the use of much shorter batteries. It may have been overkill for the vehicle's weight, as it's not likely to require that high of current, but when you want to ensure you have maximum capability, you do what it takes.
The ESC can be programmed by using the built-in SET button, as well as using the optional Hobbywing Multifunction LCD Program Box PRO G3 (30502002) or Hobbywing LED Program Card (30501003), sold separately.
