Dealer Agreement

To become an authorized Scale Speed dealer, you must operate a physical store or standalone website and be able to provide a valid State Retail Certificate or Sales Tax Resale Certificate. 

Order Process

All orders must be placed online through our website. If you need assistance with an order or prefer to place an order manually, email sales@scalespeed.com for assistance.

Shipping Policy

As we provide the maximum possible margins on all products we are authorized to distribute, we are unable to provide a free shipping tier. However, shipping costs are reasonable, and quoted live during checkout. You pay what we pay.

Warranty Policy

Scale Speed offers a 30-day limited warranty from the original date of purchase. This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal use. If a product is determined to have a manufacturing defect, we will replace the affected part(s) at no charge.

Our warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper use, misuse, abuse, accidents, or normal wear and tear. Warranty coverage applies to individual defective components only. Complete vehicles will not be replaced under warranty. As these are hobby grade vehicles, it is easy to replace/repair any potentially faulty component individually.

Claims & Support

If you experience an issue with a product, please contact us at sales@scalespeed.com before returning any items. Many issues can be resolved through basic troubleshooting, saving time and unnecessary shipping costs.

All warranty returns must be approved in advance. Packages sent without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Sending Items for Warranty Service

If we determine that a product needs to be returned for inspection or warranty service, please include the following information inside your package:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Return shipping address
  • Order number
  • Detailed description of the issue
  • Relevant setup information, if applicable (vehicle model, battery type and voltage, ESC, etc.)

We recommend contacting us with a description of the issue and any relevant photos or videos to help us evaluate your claim before requesting a return.

Minimum Advertised Price ("MAP") Policy

A MAP policy has been established by Scale Speed and its partners to benefit all industry retailers. Any advertised price that is lower than the MAP price on our website is a violation of this policy. The MAP price is the publicly visible price displayed on our website for each product. When logged in to your account, this price is shown in black text for each product, while your discounted dealer price is shown in red.

This policy applies to any and all media, including, but not limited to, posters, flyers, mailers, coupons, newspapers, magazines, inserts, catalogs, mail order catalogs, email newsletters, email solicitations, Internet or similar electronic media, television, radio, and public signage. In-store advertising that is displayed only within the physical store is exempt.

Violations of this MAP policy may result in the immediate termination of dealer status and discontinuation of product supply. Scale Speed reserves the right to take such action at its sole discretion, without prior notice or warning.

Use of Photography & Marketing Materials

Dealers are permitted to use Scale Speed provided photos, videos, and related marketing materials for any products purchased from us.
